Battery Drains Overnight

Posted 10-16-2024 at 03:05 PM by Greg W.

There are mornings when I boondock when the battery level on my 2018 View is too low to start the generator, bring in the slide-out or lift the murphy bed. This generally happens when it is cold at night and the furnace blowers drain the battery. We generally turn the fridge to a low setting at night because this is the model where the fridge runs off the battery and does not have a propane option. I have two 100-watt LiFePO4 batteries that provide 12.8 volts 200 amps and 390 watts of solar power. I am considering a battery generator such as a Jackery or Costco’s Ecoflow 1600W. Would these be strong enough to bring in my slider and start my generator? Any other suggestions? Thanks,
