We are traveling from Cody, Wyoming to Whitefish, Montana in a 36’ gas motor home pulling a toad. Does anyone have a recommendation for best route? My gps shows Cody to Rockvale to Columbus where I get onto I90. After that it looks like I can exit I90 at Three forks and take 287, or stay on I90 to Wye and take 93 north. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
We only took part of 93 from Polson to West Glacier a few months back which went through Whitefish, but 93 is a great easy road and believe that to be true from Wye.
Do the 93A around Kalispell.
Not sure how 287 would work...up to 89 and the 2? 2 is a good route around Glacier, but that seems a long way.
