View/Navion or Minnie Winnie 26A to tow CRV?

We had a 2006 View but missed having a car so got a 30 C to flat tow our CRV.
Want to downsize. Will the View get us up hills OT do we need the 7500 capacity of a Minnie Winnie. Loved my View but don’t want to be a danger. CRV wwiight is about 3800lbs

We used to tow a CRV with a previous motorhome. The tow rating of our View is 5000 pounds and we now tow a 4000 pound GMC Terrain.

Any problem on hills? Would imagine the extra slide in back adds to weight. Love your layout but was looking at v or J in case it would limit towing and carrying water in tank. Thanks

I tow a Prius on a dolly with my View. About 3,500 pounds. (500 for dolly and 3,000 for the Prius). No problems on any hills or grades. My dolly has brakes.

Towing 2005 Nissan Frontier P/U with our 2018 26A Minnie has not presented any problems going over the hills. The Triton V10 seems to have plenty of power. MPG pulling the TOAD drops 1/2-1 mpg.

I own a 2016 Minnie Winnie 22R, with 5,000 tow pkg. It pulls my horse trailer just fine over Oregon Coastal Range and Mt Hood. Back bed and no slide out means I can stop and rest/nap right then... no slide outs to deal with. Short and compact. I can get into most sites. Tons of storage. I love it. Hope you find the right one for you.

Tuscontoy: I have a 2018 Navion 24D and want to get a two dolly for my Honda Fit. What type do you use? I was gonna get the Acme EZE tow dolly or the Kar Kaddy SS, but they have “surge style” hydraulic brakes which my Winnebago user manual specifically DOESN’T recommend as it “”places excessive stress on the hitch”.
