1706 window screens have a gap

My window screens have a gap between the frame and the window frame as if the screen isn't sitting all the way in place even though it is. Has anybody dealt with this and if so what was your fix?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Yes...my 2018 Micro Minnie 1706 also has this on all the windows...a gap around 1/8 inch. It's because they actually warp, with heat, cold, etc..as well as the movement of the side walls during road time. I had this on my Taylor Coach as well. Most all will...

....just use a good long-life, clear (or colored to match the dark brown paint of the window frame) silicone sealant,...and making a small opening at the tip of the sealant tube...bead around the entire frame. Don't PUSH the screen frame towards the window frame after you seal it. You want the frame to rest as it will always seek to do. Do that..and you will have no further problems. I would do that after the Spring, when the air temperature is at least 60F for at least 8 hours of the day. You'll be fine!

Cheers,
