2006 Sightseer leveling question

This is probably an easy question for anyone more knowledgeable about Winnies. The 2006 invoice said HYDRAULIC LEVEL JACKS - AUTO, but looking at the controls I don't think they are 'automatic'. Can anyone confirm this? I just purchased this Class A and haven't even picked it up yet. The prior owner wasn't much help. See pics attached. TY

That is Kwikee Level Best leveling system, You will find all the documentation and manuals in that link.
It is not automatic, it's manual operation as detailed in the operators manual.

I would agree that some would not consider these "automatic" as much as some. But then the other side of that coin is how automatic you want and is it anything to aspire to have?

We have had good luck and bad luck with levelers and it has come down to wishing we had more control at times.
Understanding the difference may let you look at what is preferred for your own use.
Compared to getting out boards or ramps, these might be called automatic but not as much as simple one button push.

The problem with the two one button push that failed was that we never knew when it would fail, meaning it was more trouble than just doing the button pushes as the lights indicated!
When they failed it seems to be due to trying to move and adjust to fast. There is a level sensing gizmo and it seemed to lift the RV too fast, reach level and then not stop to let the sensing settle on the correct answer. Raise the low end, whoops too far, raise the other end which is now low and now too far so we raised the first end yet again!

At some point the system ran out of jacked and reported the slope was too much and we should park in a more level site! At that point we would shut down the system lift the jacks and let it all settle before going back and doing the leveling manually by lok at which light told us was low, raise that and level it much as we would if we were using a level. We had to lift it, let the senor get settled and then do another adjustment.

So the difference came down to waiting while the automatic did it too fast and wasted the time and running up and down or just pushing the buttons to level it ourself! On those two RV, we finally just went with doing it manual and not trying to see if it could do it as a waste of time!
