99 minnie winnie slide out issues
Worked on it 3 weeks ago and slide went in and out just fine. Today I go out, set the parking brake, make sure batteries charged up good, and hit the slide out switch to slide it out and nothing. Relay is good, no blown fuses or breakers. I'm about ready to pull my hair out! Any help please?!

Both Winnebagos I've owned said engine running to "help" the batteries, parking brake set, before using slide. Also, make sure you either fully extend or fully retract every time you use it, or the motors may get out of sync. There's a couple of youtube videos out there with some fixes if they do get out of sync.

I have never partially had the slide out. And I have tried if everywhich way, running, off, run position, leveled, not leveled, with generator, plugged in.. nothing seems to work. But worked just fine 3 weeks ago. Now I dont hear the motors running when I hit the switch

What does the slideout troubleshooting section of the owners manual say about this sort of thing?
My Navion has one slide and the manual says
"Battery Voltage or Circuit Breaker
Problems
If the slideout room will not work:
• Turn the Chassis Battery Disconnect switch
OFF (leave off for 20 seconds) and then turn
ON again. This will, in many cases, reset
power to the slideout system.
• he chassis battery may be low on charge.
Press and Hold the Battery Boost switch
(located on the dash) while pressing the
interior slideout control switch. This
momentarily connects the house batteries to
assist in slideout room operation.
• The circuit breaker may be tripped. The
circuit breaker, labeled “Slideout Power” is
located on a panel on an interior wall of the
passenger side storage compartment just
behind or ahead of the entrance door."
I don't know if any of these suggestions applies to your slideout, but you could try them.
(I'm not even sure if they apply to mine)

That's what mine says and I have tried all of that as well. I have made sure I have power to relay and breaker in breaker box is not tripped. Looks like into the shop it goes on Monday.:(

Sorry Sam. Maybe leave it alone for a while, and then try it again later. Some problems are transient, and I've had a few that just "went away" on their own.

Are you anywhere close to shore power, even a 15 amp circuit, connected with a dog one should provide you with enough power to operate the slide out. Also check the house battery connections, etc.

We own a 99 Winnie f53 chassis it's the chieftain model 33 ft it also has the HWH slides and Jack's you must put the park brake on and have the key turned on preferably with the engine running make sure that your safety latches are unlocked before trying to extend the slide.

The HWH hydraulic pump system runs off the chassis battery not the house batteries.

We had a similar problem with our View (2014). Turned out that a motor had burned out. Luckily we got it fixed a week before warranty expired. Dealer said Winnebago was having a problem using too small motors for some slide outs. He was hoping they would fix it in later models.
