Carpet Replacement

I have a 2011 34y, It has a piece of carpet, approx. 2’ x 4’ located in front of both the slide carpet and the recliner. (slide covers it when in) It it showing some wear, plus has acquired some stains over the years. Called Winnebago Parts, told “unit to old to still have this item in stock”.
Has anyone with similar models replaced this item before. If so what was the procedure to replace?
I assume, it’s just glued to floor, tear loose, find matching piece at carpet store and glue into place. But things are not usually that simple, so asking for advice before I start. Thanks for the input.

We "de-carpeted" our Journey within months of making it ours.

The carpet is installed in the standard fashion. Padding glued to floor. Carpet laid over and stapled around edges. Easy to remove. Well within capability of the determined amateur to replace.

We replaced entire floor with 12 x 24 vinyl tile. Other flooring choices abound.
