Pre-owned RV..... Well, the mirrors function as they should but were distracting to look at; at least from the outside and not from the driver’s seat. I did a search for mirror caps to put over them, but couldn’t find any (odd, seems like there would be a market for them even if it’s just to change the appearance from black to chrome). I then looked for replacements, and the prices are ridiculous. So, I tried my hand a vinyl wrapping them and it damn near killed me
All you need:
Heat gun (had it)
Squeegee (had it) its best to wrap a microfiber cloth around the edge
Ladder (probably would have been easier if I removed them from the RV)
Patience and YouTube
Took about an hour, felt like 4
