E450 Transmission service and Upgrade?

We have a 2007 Itasca Cambria 29h using a 2006 Ford E450 cutaway chassis.

It’s has a #5T110W Torqshift five speed transmission in which I am planning to change the filter and replace the fluid with Mercon LV.

I’ve read that there was a running change in 2008 that used an improved filter and updated pan.

My Ford dealer seemed kinda confused so I’ll toss my questions out here…

Is it a good idea to do this upgrade to my 2006? Any problems with doing it?

Do you know the correct part number for the pan, filter, and gasket?

Should I also replace the external “toilet paper” filter or leave that housing empty?

Does double filtering cause restricted flow of the LV fluid?

Any other suggestions for the maintenance of this transmission?

Thanks for your wisdom!!
