There are about 20 possibilities for the cause of the CEL.
Without knowing a code about all you can do is check the area of the filters to see if you knocked any wiring off sensors on the engine while doing the work.
Did you drive the coach ? Did the " Stop Engine light " come on ?

This morning I checked the message center and it showed SPN 5585 FMI 18 SA -0 fault code. Any ideas what this is.

If you have your engine serial number, you could call Cummins Care and ask.

engine light

Went out last night and cranked up coach and the fault light was off. Must have built up enough fuel rail pressure.

Was the code for fuel rail pressure ?

How many times did you cycle the ignition key on , with a 30 second wait between cycles, before you started the engine after changing the fuel filter?

I let the engine get warm 3 times then did 4 wait cycles. It worked for me.
