Fastener on front cap 39k
Anybody know what they call these fasteners, that hold the front of the roof cap, and where I can get them ?
Looks like I am missing one from the DS roof cap, and it also appears the caulking is split.
What is the best thing to use to caulk this area ?
Thanks in advance

Can't see the photo real well but looks more like a snap clip used to hold a windshield cover in place. I don't remember seeing those on my 39K but will look in the morning.

On further inspection, it just looks like a cap over the screw, but I can't seem to find that particular screw cover listed anywhere.....doh!

Go to winnebagooutdoors.com and do a search for screw and they will show up.

Sorry about the wrong #, that was from Winn, I did get them from Winnebago outdoors though. I'll see if I can find the # I used.

OK here is the real deal. Retainer #149753-01-07A Cap #149753-02-07A. These are Winnebago numbers. If you want them from Amazon they just need the Winn #. These are champagne colored. the 07A is the color so you will need to check that on the net if that is what your going to do.

No 's' on the end. The correct link is Winnebago & Itasca Branded Apparel, Shirts and Gifts | Winnebago Outdoor

Dang, my 39K is missing the same cap and is the same color motorhome, only mine is missing from the passenger side. If you find the P/N for the right color, I would like to know too!
Thanks!

I needed them for my coach. I thought they only came in the light color and had to be painted with them touch up paints included with them coach. The cover just clips in and if it is subsequently removed is prone to fall out.
Not the best method to secure the caps unless they are perfectly aligned. My front one is not and I ended up using a one inch Stainless washer with a rubber washer underneath to pull the side of the cap in. Evidently detachment of the cap is very common according to the dealer I contacted and will result in moisture getting into the coach as I had. Good luck with the repair and be sure to check periodically that the cap is still secure.

Well I can confirm that Champagne is indeed NOT the correct color for the cap and cover. However it is very close to the lighter color of our coaches, so I don't think it will look too bad.
I am going to try and fit them this weekend, and I'll post a picture.
"jnwhite" if you think the look is ok, I'll be quite happy to send you a couple of caps and covers for the cost of postage, as I didn't realize that when I ordered the caps on Amazon, it was for a quantity of 10 ....
