Fresh Water Drain valve threaded cap

I'm looking for somewhere I can buy a replacement for the threaded cap that holds the drain valve onto my 1/2" fresh water line, near the water pump. The thread cap is cracked. I'd like to just replace that cap, but if needed, would replace the entire drain valve. For my 1996 Winnebago Adventurer.

Thank you.

You could probably match that compression ring up with another component at one of the big box hardware stores, but the cost is likely the same as the replacement of the valve at RV store… I bought that same valve for about $12 at my local RV store.

Yeah, I looked at Camping World...they didn't have it. Nor did Menards. I'll keep searching I guess, unless anyone can find specifically, online or elsewhere.

Thank you.

When not finding the RV specific item, I have moved to the more common items from big box stores. Do you have space to change from the 1/2 to 1/2 angle stop to something handy to find like a straight stop!

Later Winnebagos with PEX plumbing used Flair-it fittings.

Catalog says the same fittings were used with poly butyl pipe, so that's what you are looking for, Flair-It parts, which aren't typically at big box stores. A local Mobile Home supply has them by me.

And looks like the whole drain fitting (or pretty similar) is on Amazon:

If you still have the cracked cap, put it back on and put a hose clamp around it. A lot less $$ than a new valve!

I'm new here...not sure I understand what you're saying about my signature. I have added a photo to my profile. Profile has Year 1996, and model, Adventurer.
