Here is an example of how the laminate sold at Sam's Club can go around the stair bullnose. The trim in my opinion is as important as the flooring. We used the Dupont product sold at Home Depot and were really happy with it.

we looked at several options for the trim between the floor and the stairway. we did not want the trim to hang over the top of the floor as it would be a tripping hazard. the wood baseboard trim that we chose fits flush with the floor. pictures of our installation to follow soon!

Yes lots of pictures. This subject is always on the top of the list and a lot of folks want to see your project. Particularly the way you deal with the stairs.
