Help with plug in compartment next to entry door

Hi, We have a 2002 Winnebago Adventurer 32V, the compartment to the left
of the entry door has a plug, that we can't figure out what it goes to.
Any help would be appreciated. Tried to attach a pic
but had trouble. The plug is on the right wall the the compartment.

Pictures have to be re-sized, and work best if importing in a quick reply.
Complete instructions in " FAQ " center of blue bar between , " User CP" & " Log Out"

Could you be a little more descriptive, such as, what is plugged into it or if it works etc. Could be it is there for outside TV, refer or the like. If it doesn't work might be a circuit problem.
When all else fails, give Winnebago a call.

Probably for an optional electric awning

I think by "plug" the poster means "plug". As opposed to "receptacle". That is, they have a cord hanging/laying they're and wondering why.

As far as I know, there shouldn't be a cord there. (Or a receptacle.)

Where does it appear to go? Up through the floor?

I do have a cord with a plug on the end in my 2003 Adventurer, it is for the control box of the optional electric awning.

If you have an electric awning, it may be the emergency 12 power plug. You should have a matching plug in your black bag.
