Went out to get RV ready for a day trip tomorrow, hit the store button, light came on, jacks did not retract, had to use the down arrow in level mode to retract jacks, very slow, had to assist them up with a 2x4. Whre should I be looking to correct the problem
Hi I had a similar problem with my 07 Itascha. I was told to take the panel with the swiches out and disconnect the power plug. I let it sit two minutes and reinstalled it. Everything worked good after that. Kind of like powering down my computer or DISH TV box. good luck

Hi J Stemler,
You could also try spraying each jack cylinder with lubricating/penetrating oil spray. The one I use is made by Solder Seal. It can be purchased at Lowe's. Do not wipe the cylinders. Just spray them. Also, look at the jack springs. The last 5 turns of the spring (both ends) should have a slight taper into the hook. If they are straight, you may need new springs.

J Stemler- you can view the complete manual and troublshooting chart on HWH's website- you can identify the system you have by the control pad- it will have a part number on it and the HWH site has a picture guide for these keypads for selecting the correct manual - www.hwh.com
Mine did not retract very fast this spring. I put them down and lifted the bus as high as I could get it. Took a rag with plenty of motor oil and wiped the road grime and grit off the lift cylinders. Works great now!
Silicone is the recommended lubricant, however just read a post, about Super Lube, Dri Lubricant and the OP said that it did a excelllant job, ordered it at Ace Hardware. Beware of any lubricant that will effect rubber and attract dust..Springs are worth looking at. Good Luck

We had the same problem, there is a shuttle valve on the valve body under the entrance steps. Easy to replace, I got one from HWH, but Camping World has them. Call HWH and they can tell you how to loosen a line to one of the solenoid valves and it will release the pressure and the jacks will retract if the shuttle valve is the problem.
