On my 07 Journey, the LR jack has always been slow and the last jack to come down when auto leveling. This past weekend, it did not extend at all, either in the auto or manual mode.

All other jacks (and slides) worked fine. Any ideas of something to check before I try to get an appointment at my dealer?

Thanks!

Perhaps a problem with the solenoid for that jack. You might want to give the tech support folks at HWH a call. They are helpful and might be able to help you diagnose the problem without a trip to the dealer...

Check the electrical connections on the solenoid for that jack. Have someone hold the manual extend button for that jack and check the led lights on the control panel. The HWH web site has a trouble shooting guide for reading the led lights for possible electrical problems. A quick way to determine if it is a bad solenoid would be to swap a known good solenoid into that position. If that works and the problem follows the solenoid, you've solved your problem. The solenoids just screw into place and are easy to swap out with little or no hydraulic mess. HWH should replace the bad solenoid under warranty, if that is the problem.

Thank you both for the ideas. I think I'll start with the HWH Technical guys.

Best Regards!

There is a T Handle on the end of each solenoid valve. You can open these T Handles to manually bleed off the hydraulic pressure on any jack. If these Handles are not fully closed, you may have a jack that does not extend or will come back up after extending the jacks.

Sammie,

Thanks for the info. I also have a slow bleed down issue with my LF jack, after a day or two, it drops down enough that I have to re-level that corner. I'll have to check the T handle on that jack solenoid to see if it is seated all the way.

Appreciate the help!
