Agree with GG1, if Paul does not have a good source in Yuma, I would contact 3T's RV in Lake Havasu City, they are authorized HWH repair facility. They are very accomodating and it would be worth the drive up there, but make an appt. first, this is their busy time of year.

Thanks to doorguy and GGI for the suggestion to contact Paul Maddox. He is a great ambassador for HWH. What I thought was a $1200--$1400 repair was resolved with a 5 min. adjustment thanks to Paul. Again thanks for the help
The problem was bunching of the carpet behind the driver seat, causing the slide room to bind as it was to start the rise into the coach. Paul explained that the problem was that the floor had sagged down in the front, perhaps due to the weight of the motorized sofa bed. The adjustment was to increase the length of the jack bolt, in the front, between the ram mechanism and the floor brace. Problem solved.
Sounds like our problem, we now have replaced our old carpet with vinyl plank board but the slide is catching when retracting, not much but a slight adjustment could solve our problem, I'm trying to get someone who could make that adjustment but not having too much luck and I'm just not sure which jack bolt your talking about, we have a 2005 Journey WKP39k,can you confirm if it's the bolt back of bracket two on each side of slide.
Thanks
Not sure which bolts you are looking at. On my Itasc 33v the adjusting bolt, one at the outer end of each ram assembly, goes vertical between the ram housing and the floor brace. The floor brace is a box tube that runs front to back the length of the slide. If it's the same as mine as soon as you see it, it will all make sense. I extended mine 3/8 inch and all was good. Hope this helps
