Intermittent noise from central air conditioning and heating unit

I have a 2005 Adventurer gas unit which has the Coleman central air conditioning/ heating configuration. Recently we have noticed a sporadic hummm lasting a few seconds when the unit is operating both on heating or when the air conditioner is on.
I need some information as to what this might be, and the what the fix that is required. Also whether the Winnebago dealer is the person to go to.
