Need help with Bulb part #

The bulb over my front door finally died and I need to replace it. It is a 12V bayonet style bulb. There is no label left on the bulb itself. I found the Winnebago part # but need the standard part number such as Autozone, NAPA, etc…. Can anyone assist with that?

Sorry, Winnie part # was on other computer and battery is dead :(

Just take the bulb with you. Most are pretty easy to find by eyeballing them. Many will just upgrade it to an LED that matches the socket. I did that years ago with mine and have not changed it since.

There is basically two bulbs used inside the typical RV single and dual filament. Dual filament will have the pins offset, Single filament will have pins parallel. The part number should be stamped into the metal base.

Look at the base of the burned out bulb. Mine is stamped 1003 12V 15CP. It is a standard automotive 12 volt bulb type 1003. I bought a 2 pack at Walmart last night for $4.

Bulb part#

Should be an 1141 or 1156 bulb. But i agree, replace it with an led. Brighter light , less amp draw and longer life. I have converted every light in my MH to LED. 1141/1156 led replacement bulbs can be found on ebay with 18 diodes for 2 to 3 dollars and with 24 diodes for 3 to 4 dollars. Same bulbs they charge 15 to 20 dollars for at the RV stores. Some US sellers, but most come directly from china, usually with free shipping.

Just as a starter, does it look like any of these? If it has a single contact any of these should work. Mine is a 1003 and 15CP (candle power).
Revolution Single Contact Bayonet RV LED Bulbs
Here are a couple of other sites to hunt:
M4 Products - Search Results for "1003"
Car LED Lights - Page 2

Merry Christmas,
Rick

Mine look like this:

If that's what you have, you can you google "12 volt elevator bulb" and find a bunch of options. "1383" seems to pop up most often.

(I picked up a couple at Camping World with a coupon a while back, 1383 bulb)

use the 1003 lamp, 1141 or 1156 are too hot and melted my plastic light cover.
