New Turbo Install Questions 2004 Journey 32T

I just installed a remanufactured VGT turbo in my 2004 journey with a 5.9 ISB Cummins.. I did an oil change and primed the turbo, but would like to crank the engine to build oil pressure before starting.. if anyone could give me insight into what procedure I could take, it would be greatly appreciated. Would I need to pull a fuse for the ignition?? Somehow isolate fuel supply?? Any help would be appreciated as working on a Diesel is new to me and I Just don’t want to fry the journal bearings and have to replace the turbo again!!!!
Thanks Jim.
