Replacement awning material
I have a 2002 adventurer wfg32v with an electric awning and i need to replace the material.I am having trouble finding the replacement as it was the metal tube built in when folded. All the ones i have found have not had that extra slide in piece to connect to the metal tube.I was also wondering if anyone has found the material that is on newer rv that appears to more of a canvas than a plastic sheet.Any help would be much appreciated.

I've not replaced awning fabric, but I replaced slide topper fabric with Tough Top Awnings from Washington state. Excellent company to deal with. Material is an upgrade from original.

Replacement awning material
I had my slide toppers and awning material replaced with double-woven linen. Tough stuff. Dries quickly. The toppers droop with rain but drys and re-tightens quickly. No slide noodles needed.

Just happened to see your post is the "Recent discussions" box. Stone Vos has the high-quality acrylic material that looks like canvas. You will be very happy with their service and their products! RV Awnings & Slide Toppers From Stone Vos

There is only ONE place where I will purchase replacement fabric for awnings and toppers, that is from Stone Vos, Inc.
They have the best fabric, the best thread and the best stitching PLUS the best warranty.
Trust me you won't be disappointed with Stone Vos products.
If you are please contact me directly and I will personally make sure that your issues are resolved.

Depending on the manufacturer of your awning, call either A&E or Carefree customer service for a copy of the instructions.
I am sure they will email you a PDF file explaining exactly how it is done.
