Rust Buckets! 2015 Minnie Winnie 31K Basement

The rear basement pan in our 2015 Minnie Winnie 31K is moulded plastic and so far, have proven to be indestructible. The exterior, underside compartments, not so much... in fact they are now held together with an assortment of slotted angles, plywood and PL construction adhesive. These exterior storage compartments are constructed of the poorest quality sheet metal I have ever seen! In my search for more permanent solutions, I have found a company offering moulded plastic compartments for RV manufacturers, but they don't sell directly to RV owners. Does anyone have any comments, or suggestions regarding Winnebago Class C storage compartments?
