Secure microwave vent flap?

Hello,

Does anyone know how to secure the kitchen/microwave vent flap in a 2014 Journey? It flaps back and forth in the wind while driving.

Thanks.

budlightman, I just when out and looked at ours it looks like a canvas curtain with a weighted rod at the bottom. There are strips of Velcro loops on the inside and outside. Check and see if anything is missing. I was expecting a plastic door like our 03 Journey had. Don't see anything to make noise unless the Velcro loops are missing.

I believe most do. The outside vents/flaps are normally for the over the range exhaust fans.

Mine was not exhausted to the outside so I changed it. The outside cover is to high to reach so I glued a magnet to the corner and a washer on the inside. It stays closed until the fan is on.
