I'm not up to wrestling 117 lbs on top of a roof, or on the ground either for that matter. I think I'll just use a closed cell foam strip like they give you when you buy a window A/C and stuff it into the crack. That should stop any more leaks. If it doesn't then I'll take to someone who can do it right. Thanks everyone for all the help.

Well, just as a motivator, I am a 5'2" woman in the 50-70 year old age range , and I removed and replaced the gasket on our AC by myself.

Just like TXiceman, I didn't lift it, I rolled it up on its side: But to be fair, being up on a roof doesn't bother me. I'd think that was more of an issue than the weight of the AC.
