Slide out bolt
I have a 2011 Journey. Noticed that the right front slide was not closing properly. I have a snapped bolt. Can I replace myself, but also, why do you think it snapped? Picture attached.

Does not look too difficult to replace. Don't know why it snapped.

When you go to replace the bolt, count the number of threads that are exposed before removing the old bold. Then when you install the new bolt match the number of exposed threads.
I don't know why the bolt snapped unless something was miss aligned. If there is something out of alignment then the number of bolt threads exposed on the old bolt could be wrong. I would think you could eyeball the slide out bars to see if they look level or aligned straight.

Where do you stand with this? I don't know if the bolt can be replaced. I think it needs to be welded.

it can be replaced, but i have also welded them, without a problem, its just a bolt.
the slide is misaligned. if it has lasted this long, i wouldnt worry about the alignment, which is difficult to do. you have to bend the strut on the back of the compartment.to be closer to true positioning.
the part number for replacement parts is RAP90530 it has two bolts in it

Please tell me how you replaced it. It looks like there is no way to get to the bolt head or enough room to get a bolt back in from the top of the frame. What am I missing here? This is a PowerGear slide rail, not HWH.
