Slide Squeaks While Driving - After Repaired

Hi,

Vista 26HE - the slide mechanism had issues (one side wasn't working) so the dealer fixed it, replaced motor and some other parts.

Now the mechanism works great but there is a bad squeak 'rubbing' noise while driving. It's especially bad when someone is sitting in the dinette (slide) area.

Before the repair I didn't have the squeak. I took it back to the dealer who checked their repair work and said something to the effect that, because the parts were new, maybe redesigned, the slide was susceptible to the squeaking. Dealer suggested using a slide lock.

I bought a slide lock but it didn't do anything.

Anyone else experience this or have tips on what to do next?

If it were me, I’d pull out my can of spray silicon and go over every part that contacts the tracks, wheels under the slide out, etc. and, pay especial attention to whatever are they “fixed”.
