We can't be of any help without knowing what year and model Winnebago along with the make and model slide out you have.

I have 2017 Winnebago Destination. I was running my slide in when the power cable was pulled from the motor. Anyone in Winnebago land who can help I would greatly appreciate it....the Schwintek videos DOES NOT explain this type of situation at all. Only how to get it in should a motor fail.

Sorry Bob, I guess it would help to give the RV information, huh...
I have a 2017 Winnebago, Destination 5th Wheel....I was running in my bed room slide when the right side motor wire broke off from the motor. Now I have it in and I can't it back out to access the motors....any ideas

I think this is common. The purpose of the manual retract system is to get you back on the road.

Unless someone comes up with a simple extend process, I'd contact an independent RV repair shop. The repair itself sounds relatively simple so I don't think it would be too expensive. You could also contact the manufacturer of the slide system for information on how to gain access the motor. They probably also have listings of authorized service shops.

Without getting too deep in the weeds- it sounds like what I ran up against when the drive blocks failed and the motor started twisting and turning on its mounts. The results were similar- power supply pulled out of motor.

In my case the motor was fine but the drive blocks had to be replaced.

Pretty much a repair shop project unless you're really into doing a tough job yourself.

Just my 2 cents

Cessna46, On my Holiday Rambler I open the basement below the slide and with a pipe wrench, turn the bar which the motor usually turns. Then, I have access to the motor through the basement.
