Snowey tv's

We have a 2016 Vista 31T and when hooked to rv park cable both tv's are snowy. I did a test and went directly from the rv park cable hookup throught a window and hooked directly to the back of the front tv. Perfect picture!
I checked the back of the cable connection where you hook to the park cable and it is ok. So I assume there is probably a problem with the splitter going to the two tv's. I spent a couple of hours yesterday under and inside trying to trace out the cable to locate the splitter with no luck.

Just wondering if anyone has any idea where the splitter is located. Hopefully they are in the same location on all the Vistas.

Thanks, Don

There's a tiny push button located somewhere inside or near the entertainment "in" cable location, that toggles between cable and antenna input, I believe. It's inside the coach, not outside. I'm not sure where it was in our 2016 Sunstar, but it may have been in the forward overhead storage, near a little green light. In our Navion, it's behind the galley TV, and I found it by accident, while having the same snowy picture issue.

Look around for a little push button, and try it. We had the same problem back in February when we used a c/g cable connection, instead of the OTA antenna. Gotta switch it over.

Send a message via Yahoo to rk911
also be sure your antenna booster is off when watching cable.
