Tired looking tail lights

One of the things that really dated our new to us 2004 Brave 34D was the stop, tail and turn signals. They were faded and you really had to look to see if they were on.
Well that’s also a safety issue in my books, so I started looking. I found on eBay a package deal, 4 stop, tail and turn (Red) LED’s and two white lights for backups, 44 bucks and change with free shipping.

My lights are 4 inch round both ST&T and the backup. I ordered the package and the shipping was fast, in less than a week they were delivered to my door.

To install you simply remove the three screws holding your old lights in, the new ones install with the same screws in the same holes.

You will need a pair of side cutter pliers, a Phillips screw driver, a wire stripper, 10 red (small) butt connectors and a pair of crimping pliers.

Cut the wires connecting the old light, and using the butt connectors connect the new lights. Red wire to red wire, white wire to gray, and the green to your remaining wire. The backups only have two wires, white wire to the red from your coach and the gray to the remaining wire. Make sure your crimping tool provides a secure crimp.

If your tail lights looked like mine you will be more than pleased with the results, I know I was, now if this weather would warm up.

Hope this helps

Taillights

One thing you will notice is how bright these lights are. Also you will notice more voltage to the ta illights on your towing set up. The new LED lights take less power to illuminate. I did this on a previous Lazy Daze I had. Remarkable difference. Travato John.

thanks John, yes one thing I installed on our Jeep is the blocking Diodes to prevent backfeeding of the RV voltage to the Jeeps, one problem prevented
