We stopped at the Fredericksburg KOA last night on our way back from Myrtle Beach. I guess the Itasca likes it here because she now refuses to start.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get her going? The engine turns fine and when you turn the key, you can hear the fuel pump for a second but, I don't know if that's long enough.
I'm on the camp store computer and will check back later.
I did call Coachnet at 5:00am and they said I'd have to wait until tomorrow for them to contact a Ford dealer. I appreciate there help and they were concerned that we were in a safe spot but, I need to be at work tomorrow 650 miles away!!!
Does anyone have any ideas or am I stuck?

No on the gas. We had been almost 300 miles and were planning to go another 100 this morning to stop for breakfast and gas. I wouldn't think the water was much fun at all!!!

Try resetting the fuel pump cut off switch under the dash between the parking brake and the brake pedal

Quote; Fuel Pump Inertia Shutoff Switch
An impact-activated switch standard on all Ford car, sport utility vehicle and truck gas engines that automatically shuts off the fuel being pumped to the engine, for added safety in the event of a collision. Once the inertia-type switch is triggered, it must be reset manually. Refer to the specific vehicle's Owner Guide for details on resetting the switch. (End Quote)
I think cappy is on it. Check your owners manual index for "Fuel Pump Inertia Shutoff Switch" it might have a picture.

There is a Fredericksburg VA near I-64 and a Fredericksburg VA over near I-95. If he is near I-95 your right.

KCE,,,thanks for educating me. I have lived in southeast virginia all my life and have traveled the Lexington, Va area quite a bit, my wife went to school in Buena Vista years ago and I never knew there was a Fredericksburg in that area.
However, I did know the Fredericksburg KOA was near the other one...We in the eastern part of VA think of the Fredericksburg on 95 when the name is mentioned. Glad to know there are two.
Good Miles and Safe Travels

We were in the Fredreicksburg KOA off of 95. We got towed to Chantilly. Ted Britt Ford found a loose ground from the fuel pump and had us on our way in no time. They said it was likely knocked loose by Winnebago during construction but, it was impossible to know for sure.
The hardest part was waiting for the tow truck which didn't show up until about 2:00 Monday afternoon. It took a while to disconnect the drive shaft and get it ready to go and over an hour to get to Chantilly.
We were probably not at the Ford dealer 30 minutes.
Home at last!
