I think mine is wide side on glass. I'm going from memory as my MH has been at a body shop since last April for front cap repair.
Side note; if your end cap is damaged, KEEP all parts/pieces. There are no new end caps,and used are very scarce. Body shops told me they can use the pieces to fabricate and repair the old cap if necessary.
