12v USB outlets for 2016 Navion 24V

Our Navion is sufficiently ancient that there are NO factory installed USB outlets except in the cab, which work only if the ignition is on.
I would like to install a couple of them in the coach, run off the coach batteries so we can recharge phones, etc, when we are not on shore power.
Does anyone have a recommendation for where to position them and how to safely tap into the 12v system?

A lot will depend on personal choices for location and how much added work you are up for doing.
For charging, I don't care much of the phone is near where I am as I can hear it from most any place in the RV!
My choice is just to go for the least effort that works well, so the existing dash connection rewired seems like it might be an easy out?

You have a switch for changing the power to the dash radio from chassis to coach. Moving the wiring for an existing outlet to that switch seems like one to consider.
But the idea is to feed the outlet off the switch making it change power sources at the same time as the radio power is switched.

The advantages I see are that it doesn't require any added holes drilled any place, the wiring run is likely very short and it does give options of which battery is used without replugging at any time.

If there is need for more ports like two at once, there are a variety of double or triple outlet adapter to add ports by simply plugging in the adapter.
