2015 Ellipse 42QD Taillight

My passenger side upper tail light does not work when the head lights are on. It does work for signal and flasher, so it seems the leds lights do function. Any thoughts on why the lights might work when headlights are on? I've checked fuses and they seem OK. Thanks

There is a black box behind each of the tail lights. I had one fail. It is a plug and play type. Get the part number and call Winny customer service. Mine was sent no charge, but I was under warranty.

Thanks I was able to verify that it was indeed the black box. I tried to order it from Lichtsinn RV but parts guy said you can't get the part, you have to order the entire tail light assembly. I mentioned this post so he called Winnebago to make sure and they said nope, he needs to buy the entire tail light assembly at $195. Not cool.

Have you tried researching the internet with the part number? I did get mine through a dealership. Gave them the bad part, they ordered it from Winny. Maybe they kept the tail light..?? Seems to me they said it was about $157.00 at that time. 2 years ago if I remember correctly.
