If your solar charge controller has a Bluetooth app, you should be able to specify battery type on the app. If it does not have Bluetooth, you should be able to select battery type with dip switches. Your controller manual should have instruction on how to set the switches. Tell us what the make and model of the charge controller is, and there’s an excellent chance someone on the forum has one just like yours.
You can upgrade to LiFePo4 right away. As Creativepart said, newer TT model will likely have a programmable converter/charger. But if yours doesn’t, you can still use LFP batteries.
