Adding a Qwork BMK in 2005 Spirit Class C

Good Morning Everyone,
I have a 2005, Winnebago Itasca Spirit 26A motorhome. I’ve been running AGM batteries in parallel to keep 12V and increase my AMP hours. I want to monitor the charge and usage so bought a Volt/Ammeter, I’ll put a pic below. I’m a little confused about an aspect of the instructions. It says to attach one end of the shunt to the negative terminal of my battery and then put all other loads to the other end of the shunt. I’ve included a pic of these instructions from meter package for installation. Previously my setup had a negative line that went from the frame of Motorhome to negative battery 1 then to negative battery 2. I think the end of shunt should connect to this frame line and then all other loads to other end of shunt. I’ll include a picture to show what I’ve done. Please advise if you think I’ve done this correctly or if I’ve overlooked something.
Thank you for your time.
Sean
