FWIW, most TV's operate on 12V internally, and utilize a converter inside the unit; some don't. Just a week or so ago someone posted how he modified his TV to run directly from the 12V RV batteries by eliminating the 120VAC cord and the converter.
Personally I'd just buy a <$30 converter from Amazon.
