back up lights

the reversing lights on my 2002 sightseer are constantly on , we have only owned the rv for two weeks and this is my latest problem . any advice would be greatly appreciated

Jimmy,
Typically, most "Back up" light switches are on the transmission, if I recall. I could be way off here but, that's what I've found in the past, several times. I don't have your model coach so I can't be more sure of my suggestion. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Its the chevy vortec on workhorse, could switch be on steering column

Disconnected switch on side of transmission and reversing lights still on, i am now searching for the source of power to the reversing lights. Any suggestions would be appreciated

You should post this down in the Workhorse Custom Chassis Motorhome Forum - iRV2 Forums forum where they deal with your chassis. Someone there can hopefully provide better info. The Winnebago wiring diagrams for your rig (Table of Contents) do not show the backup light wiring. Based on the brochure for your rig, with a Workhorse chassis you have the 4L80E 4 speed transmission.

It is not the "docking lights" if equipped, that are staying on is it?

Dont think we have docking lights, going to locate running lights fuse and pull that next

think problem is a short under gear shift collar on steering column
