We just picked it up a week ago and are still trying everything out. I've never had an RV before so I don't have much to compare it with, but I like it so far. It is an entry level RV, but that is fine for us.
We got the 24F because the setup works better for us than the 24P and other RV's we looked at. Everything is accessible with the slideout still in which is great. I would like to have gotten the upgraded Mercedes chassis package that comes with the 24P, but the deal we got on our 24F and the better layout was too good to pass up.
It drives well and is roomy. I've never had a diesel vehicle before so that is something different for me, and I'm a little concerned about finding Mercedes service centers when crossing parts of the country during my warranty period, but that could be true for other models as well.
The Porto has good towing and weight capacity for its size and drives well and I imagine the driver assist package on the upgraded Mercedes chassis makes that even better.
It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the similar but more expensive Winnebago class C's but the bones are the same as the more expensive models as far as I can tell, so I think it is a good choice for a starter RV.
Good luck with your choice.
