Blu Ray player
I have a 2012 Winnebago Tour. I'm losing the video from the blu ray player. Some times it works, some times it doesn't. Thinking loose cable. In for service and trying to pinpoint the problem. Apparently between the blu ray player and the TV there is a control box where HDMI converts to a CAT 5 cable?? They are thinking that might be the issue. Box is hot. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, how was it resolved. Thanks!

vegasmun, do a advance search for "matrix" in the Winnebago Industries Owner's Forum and you will find lots of threads about the Matrix 4X4 system.

As vegasmun said, search "matrix hdmi 4x4". Pay particular attention to the people who had to call Pace International in MN.
They are very easy to deal with...and your symptoms are similar enough to mine that I suspect you'll need the upgraded power supply too.

When you do a search, you'll see that I'm one of those posters. You'll see some issues and solutions that some of us have dealt with. Pace is easy to work with.

You might these tips I received back in 2013 from Samsung. It will help to update the firmware , disable BD live and do a hard reset. Sometimes a hard reset alone will help.
Thank you for contacting Samsung.
I am sorry to hear that you are having these issues with our Blu-ray player! Blu-ray players receive updates frequently because each disc is encrypted with unique title keys, processing keys, copy protections, etc. They also have different ways of accessing their online files. We do try to keep on top of our firmware to make sure that our players have the ability to play every disc. If your device is connected to an internet connection it should be very simple to update your firmware. Select SETTINGS > SUPPORT > SOFTWARE UPDATE > BY INTERNET. The player will automatically search for any available updates. There are some instances when the update is too large to download over the connection and you will need to download it off of Samsung.com and save it to a disc or usb and upload it to your device. This should resolve most of your incompatibility issues. (Sometimes a reset needs to be done after updating the firmware. To do this remove all discs and press and hold the STOP button on the front of the device until you are prompted to reset)
For more instructions on how to update the firmware please click on the link and select your preferred method:

Another reason that some discs may not play is that you have a slow or bad internet connection and the blu-ray is trying to access online content and gets stuck. You can resolve this by disabling the "BD Live" feature. To do this go to SETTINGS > NETWORK > BD LIVE > and set to "PROHIBIT".
How to disable BD Live:

Sometimes Samsung is not yet aware of incompatibility issues. If you have done this troubleshooting and you are still having issues with certain Blu-ray titles we do have a special department that works on these issues. They will need specific information from you to work on this issue.
How to contact our Blu-ray research department and the information they will need:
http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=397312&modelname=BD-D5100&modelcode=BD-D5100%2FZA&session_id=QJdJVJ1vw0HbkRwb41G62pnhbcmv 21p2L2qyYWyGlQ3mDlVlMtTs%21686453369%211957280104% 211351196041846&from_osc=

If you setup is like mine, there are 2 hdmi devices. The first one in line from the Player is a HDMI splitter, 1 to tv over dash, 2nd one to HDMI/Cat5 converter. There is a second HDMI/cat5 converter behind main tv.
