Charging lithium with Shore Power

I have a 2006 Winnebago journey with a C7.
I'm thinking about a lithium battery to replace the existing lead acid house batteries. From all I've learned so far is a DC to DC charger needs to be added to protect the alternator.
My question is regarding shore power and the existing charger. Will the current charger, charge the new lithium battery fully and without harming it? If not what must happen to make this work correctly?

There has been a lot of discussion lately about charging batteries. There is a wealth of information on YouTube depending on what you may need including the benefits of solar and related controllers. You should research there. I find it very beneficial seeing all the possible upgrades you can do. Good luck. Travato John.
