Did I damage my lithium battery?

I have a 2010 Winnebago Journey Express with 3 100AH LiFePO4 batteries, Victron inverter etc.

Situation - I have been wanting to experiment with solar charging the batteries when dry camping so hooked up my portable DOKIO 200Watt panel with its converter to the batteries and all seemed to go well.

However, as I was packing things away at the end of the day I realized I had connected the + and - alligator clips from the panel's charge controller to battery #1 - NOT + to battery #1 and - to Battery #3.

Have I damaged battery #1?
Have I unbalanced the charge on the 3 batteries?
What have I done - and if bad - can I undo it somehow?

Thanks for your insights.

Brian

I assume you have all three of the 100 AH Lithium batteries wired in parallel.

So all the + are tied together and all the - are tied together.

You have not damaged battery #1.
You have not unbalanced the batteries.

You should check the solar panel charge controller and see if it has any settings, if so you should set it for Lithium Iron batteries, by default it probally is set for Lead Acid and won't try to fully charge Lithium Iron batteries in that mode.

If in doubt, the best way to figure out if any issues exist is to disconnect the batteries and then test each battery separately. As long as they are connected in parallel you will not be able to test a single battery properly.

But Randy is probably correct and no damage has been done. But if it’s easy to disconnect them to be sure it might not be a bad idea.
