I want to install dimmer switches for some of the ceiling lights in my 2012 Ellipse. Has anyone done this? If so, what switches did you use and where did you get them?

Expensive yes, the reason, they are made for both incandescent and florescent lighting. I just assumed you do not have total LED lighting.

We have a 5 bulb LED light on a dimmer. Works fine although sometimes flickers on the lowest setting. The LED bulbs need to be the good ones that can handle a wide range of voltage usually like 9v to 18v or something like that. Here is our blog post about our LEDs:

About the only way to properly dim an LED is to buy the UNREGULATED ones so they can be dimmed all the way to a faint glow. You just need to watch how far you turn them up when on CG power or the charger/ inverter is on to avoid over voltage. Or add a small regulator to the input of the dimmer.
