Found a receptacle in a weird place.

While doing some make ready repairs for my winter trip down south I came across something strange. I pulled a drawer out from under one of the booth dinette seats to fix. I shined my light under the bench seat, as I was also filling holes with can insulation, I see a receptacle mounted to the floor. Nothing plugged into it at all. I guess it was live as it had wires running to it. It is directly behind the outside receptacle mounted on the wall. I tried to plug something into it but my arm was not long enough. Does anyone know what this could be?

Maybe just a plug for another floorplan.

My '89 HR Imperial had an outlet for the vacuum cleaner system under a booth seat.

We've found several of these in our 05 Itasca Meridian. They are junction boxes with fake face plates on them. It looks like a receptacle but you can't actually plug anything into them.

If you go here Wiring Diagrams and select your coach you may be able to tell from the Body, Wiring Installation diagram what that outlet is intended for.

Depending on location, could be for an engine block heater or vacuum cleaner , dish washer, or washing machine.
or, a mystery !!!!!
Other fella was right, look to Winnebago site for wire diagrams.

ditto with fputnam; have noticed several of these fake plugs in this and my other W's. On my last unit I wanted to install an actual outlet in its place and was going to use an actual outlet of the same design so I could use it. I discovered that once you remove the wires from the fake plugs, it is almost impossible to re-install them(they must use machines to put them together), so I just used an elec. box with a standard outlet.
