Question gen trouble

I have a 7500 w onans generator,thats driving me nuts. When I start it up it runs perfect for about 3 or 4 minutes then it starts to serge.The rpms start to go up and down.I cleaned out the float bowl frist because I think the unit has not been run for a while.Any advice would be helpful thanks.

Change the air filter. Fixed my 7500 quiet diesel.

maybe it's running out of fuel check, also check the fuel line to the tank and change the fuel filter on the motor it maybe pugged.

also I'd suggest you change the fuel filter.

The codes are usually flashed on the Start/Stop switch. There is info on the codes in the owners manual

I forgot to tell you that our coach is a 1994 .She is old but in very good shape and paid for.now its my turn to laugh all the way to the bank.thanks
