Headlight upgrade options for 1999 Adventurer

I refuse to drive my 1999 adventurer at night - did it once. And realized the headlights are terrible…..

Is there an easy way to upgrade the light output?

Or should I just get (replace) some new LEDs 4” or 6” lights that the previous owner obviously tried to add.
