Welcome to the Winnebago Owners Club. You did not mention the model of your Winnebago coach. I would suggest it would be helpful if you added your coach info in your signature. If you do a search in this forum you should find lots of info on this subject. One that comes to mind is a project that member smlranger posted along with pictures of the replacement of his heater core on his Journey.

We have a Winnebago Chat every Tuesday night at 9 PM EDT (tonight). You are invited to join us if you wish.

If your talking about your front dash heater core, here is a thread showing what another forum member did to replace his core.

I changed the core in my 2000 Journey. My front cap had to be moved. I decided to remove it others have just tilted it forward. The procedure is the same except for the removal of the last few bolts.

I found this thread very useful: Journey Heater Core replacement

It was not as complicated or time consuming as I first thought it would be.

Good Luck!
Ron

I done mine.. It was simple, I picked up 4, 10 Inch wheels from harbor freights. Built a Stand/cradle out of 1x4 boards Lossened/removed the Bolts and rolled it away;(the cap) Then you have complete access to the Heater core. .. When i put mine in (the new one) I made a bracket To support the Heater hoses . as they hange on the heater and Tend to Break things in the Core, If you take your time it is a days job. With time for a Bud or Two.. Good luck.. DON'T listen to that guy that says it can be done differantly..
