Question Horn Sounds Randomly While Driving

We have a 2015 WFJ38S. The horn will randomly go off while driving. This happened last year and it was supposedly "fixed" by a mechanic, but it started up again last week. I had to pop off the center piece of the steering wheel to temporarily stop it. Does anyone know what causes this and how to repair it correctly? Thanks!

It's a Winnebago specialty vehicle/commercial shell.

This would seem to be the clue. If we think of the center as a momentary push button switch for the horn relay, and removing that switch stops the horn sounding, it seems logical there is a contact in that switch which is making contact when it should not. I would try looking at the center portion you removed for the cause, possibly some small spring has lost tension and not opening fully? An ohmmeter across the contacts might help to spot the problem.

So, it's like a motorhome, but fitted for commercial use? Like a chip truck, or limousine, or bus, or other passenger or retail related activities?
First time I've heard of something like that.
Thanks.
