House power to Dash Radio

All,
I'm new to owning a motorhome. I have a 2002 Winnebago Minnie 24v.
I noticed the dash radio only works when the ignition is in accessory mode or the engine is running.
I'm sure I could just connect the constant power wire to the radio to make it run all the time, but that would use the engine battery.
Does anyone know where I could run a house battery line from easily so the radio would run off the house batteries? I've seen some motorhomes that have a switch to alternate between house and engine but I don't think I have that.
Any advise would be appreciated!

Thanks!

First I would suggest being really sure there is not a switch to change from start bat to coach but assuming you have done that and found none, this is an idea which might be worth checking for ease of getting to it and then checking to be sure it IS the wire I think. Winnebago labels wires on the side with the last two or three letters being the ID which we get the info from this chart:

Click this picture to get a better view but I "think" you may find there is a Battery mode switch with a wire on pin 1 of the switch being coach power. Wire should be a 16 gauge yellow wire and labeled "LS". This wire seems to come off a 6 amp breaker in the battery compartment, so that might make it just right to tie the radio in also??
You should do some checking before accepting that as the right thing, though.

Thank you! That was helpful. I did find the LS wire and it goes into the switch to bridge the house battery with the engine battery for starting the engine. Very helpful!

Glad it helped!
You know the old story about the blind sow finding an acorn now and then? Sometimes things work out!
