Infotainment Center XSG3NA-MB9

I have the Infotainment Center XSG3NA-MB9 in my 2018 View. Everything about it is slow. Pushing the control knob to turn it on I never know if I have pushed hard enough and have to wait five to ten seconds to see if the logo appears. If it doesn't appear, I have to push again and wait. If the system is not on, and I have to shift into reverse, I usually have to trust my side mirrors because the camera is very slow to engage. The Rand McNally has never worked. Again tapping the screen for Go to Map or other items takes forever and eventually I get a pop up message that "Gave up waiting for the main navigation engine to initialize. Please try again." I'm in Alaska and the only authorized dealer doesn't really want to deal with it. Does anyone else have this problem? Should I be contacting Riverpark for solutions? I have an email to support at Rand McNally but my gut tells me the whole system is a lemon.
Thanks for any input.

Do call RiverPark - I've found them helpful at trouble-shooting and resolving some issues. Before you do that you could try updating your SD card using the RandMcNally Dock Software (which you'll need to download).

If you get a message that says the SD card is too small RiverPark will send you a new one. Alternatively, if you choose not to update the card - they may still send you a new SD card (and expect you to return the existing one).

It was one option we decided against, along with the ceiling vent/shade.
We stuck with the basic radio/camera system, and the Maxx Air ceiling exhaust fan, instead. We just read too many negative reviews/comments prior to ordering our 2018 Navion.
Riverpark is the place to contact for help, according to most reported problems/fixes.

We have the larger version of this with two monitors (10.2" for me and 7" for my wife) and it works great.

I know a lot of folks complain, but once you update the system, update the maps regularly and get familiar with the way the Rand McNally GPS works you'll find it a real plus for your travels.

Be sure to download the RND Dock program to your computer and get a USB SD Card reader if you don't have one. Then you can keep both your software and your maps up to date easily and often.

Also, Rand McNally's TripMaker website is good for route and trip planning - then you load it on to your SD card on your computer and you're ready to travel.
