While reading motorhome magazine TECHSAVVY section, Nov. issue, their write up on the LED replacement lighting for the flourescent tube got my interest.
It would solve my problem of this one flourescent light in the kitchen turning on my bedroom radio. It bypasses the ballast.
It appears to be an easy change over, however at $45.00 for two of the LED lights seems a bit pricey".http://www.jclampstand.com/"
Has anyone done this yet?

I haven't used the fluorescent light bulb replacements from Jirahbut I have replaced several of the 1141 socket bulbs with the JC-36-AB-CW, 36-LED card. Yep they are more money but use less energy and are cooler. They didn't have the fluorescent replacements last time I went to their website. I might have to try a couple.

Also just read the article in Motorhome Mag. I think I will give a pair a try. In the Adventurer the front fluorescent, controlled at the door entry, cannot be on if you are using the TV remote. I won't go into that discussion of planning. It even states in the Sony book that a fluorescent will interfere with the remote, and it does. Thus, that light is seldom used, so LED seems like an option. Pricey, but a definite, I'll think about it.

KALYNZOO, In regards to remote TV control not working with forward flourescent light turned on, I had the same problem, so just take a little piece of tape and make a shade over the remote sensor of your sony TV. The sensor is located at bottom, front, center of TV. It works for me. Regards, Jerry
